Armored Layers
In this section you will clearly learn about the enclosed Layers that conform a car to the highest level of armored security.
| FIBER COVERING | The floor, roof and door panels are covered with several layers of a unique component exclusively made by J.P. Abate, S.A., known as FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic). FRP is also placed in the backseatpanels. |
| HOLLOW CAR STRUCTURE | Upright frames, windshield frames, door and side frames, as well as all hollow profiles are injected with a Liquid ceramic which, upon hardening, brings the highest level of ballistic resistance to the structure. |
| STEEL COVERING | The fire wall (between the engine and the dashboard) is covered with ballistic steel combined with FRP (Fiber Rainforced Plastic), Which is also applied at the backseat panel. |
| ARMORED GLASS | Our Armored transparency glass offers the same optical characteristics of the original from the factory. For increased optic quality and optimum ballistic resistance, we use multi-layer glass with an 8mm thickness splinter film and polycarbonate. The layers of the glass are the followings: Las capas del vidrio son las siguientes: • Spliner Films • Polyester • Polyvinyl Butyral • Glass • Polyurethane • Polycarbonate • Polyurethane • Ceramic Paint • Glass |
| REINFORCED HINGES | To protect vital parts, which warranty the car's mobility, we reinforce relevant elements Like door Locks and doorninges. |
| ROOFTOP AND DOORS | The roof and the doors are protected with multi-impact layers of steel. The thickness varies depending upon its location and the required armored levels. |
| VULNERABLE AREAS | Vulnerable areas such as the battery and electronic starting system as well as the fuse box and the brake Liquid deposit. |
